I was approached by my good friend and very talented artist Andrew Kuo to help him make this video for Animal Collective. Apparently the band wasn’t happy with the original video created for this song and they asked him to save the situation. We made this on a tiny budget and a two week deadline. The blurry footage is of… hahahaha I can’t tell you, sorry.

I was commissioned by Ulf Eriksson from Kontra-Musik to make a music video for Andreas Tilliander’s new project. Ulf wanted something that felt like Spike Jonze’s iconic video for Sonic Youth 100%. He set up a house party at his home and I tried to capture whatever happened and make something warm and beautiful out of it.

This is the second video I made for this band. I just sat around in studio and experimented with whatever I found lying around. My process was purely visceral, constructing visuals to whatever the song made me feel.

This is my first music video. It was a collaboration with the directing duo Peking (Nat Livingston Johnson and Greg Mitnick). We were obviously huge Stan Brakhage fans at the time.
